Sep 14 2009 UPDATE - I just got paid $10, finally, from Fast Profit Powerlines after submitting many many emails and requests (all unanswered) and so forth. However, this isn't what they made it out to be and it was so much trouble, therefore I still don't recommend it. At least I got my $10 back and broke even. This $10 was from having 10 upgraded members recruited by me (even though I warned people about it, they still took their chances). So I brought $100 into Fast Profit Powerlines and made $10, only a 10% commission. Not worth it, 4x1 Fortune pays $30 for only 6 people and the price is almost identical and the payments are automatic in 4x1 Fortune. Fast Profit Powerlines requires that you request a pay out. My story from the beginning is below :
Here is a business opportunity I joined and was initially very excited about. In the end it never paid anything. Unfortunately it was only afterwards that I did the math calculations and realised the payout promises were mathematically impossible. I have emailed the Admin to ask for clarification on their payment promises. In one email even they admitted the payment explanation wasn't clear. I have yet to recieve a reply to my last email. But, it was only $10 and makes for an interesting page for my site. My blow by blow account below :
May 2 at 9:15pm EST I joined a new work at home system. It just started YESTERDAY and already over 9000 people have joined. This is a Single Line Matrix. Single line means you get 100% SPILLOVER.
After joining this program, without doing ANY marketing whatsover, after about 10 minutes I already had 5 people in my downline. I couldn’t believe it !! I had been slogging away at the other programs lucky to get 1 signup every couple of days, and after 10 minutes of doing nothing I already had a downline of 5 ?
As I write this, the time is now 2:45am EST (May 3rd). It has been 5 and half hours since I joined and I now have 15 in my downline, again from doing NOTHING !!! Granted the signup speed has slowed down, but I suspect most people are sleeping right now.
So now I decided to make this page and start sharing this with the world. The more advertising everyone does the more everyone benefits. I benefit 100% from my upline’s advertising and recruits and 100% from my advertising of course. This is the first opportunity of it’s kind I have personally seen. I’m sure after writing this I’m gonna recieve 100 emails from people promoting another exact same scheme, oh well, should make for interesting reading.
How Does This Work ?
Basically you pay a ONE TIME FEE of $10 to join (plus $0.75 Alertpay fee if you use Alertpay. Other payment processors may charge differently). Then, once 250 people join after you, you get $20 (double your money). So of course I haven’t got paid anything yet, but at this rate I should see that $20 within a week, which is more than I can say for the other programs that haven’t made a profit after longer than that.
The process repeats itself everytime you cross the next 250 mark. Once you pass 250 you get $20, then $30, then $60, then $210 etc etc. It appears to continue until you get a $1000 payout after you cross 3000 people.
Naturally this could be a total scam, and I’ve just lost $10. I will know soon enough. The guy who recommended it to me already has 141 in his downline (ie he is 141 members up from me). So I’m looking forward to seeing what happens once he crosses the 250 mark.
Be sure to BOOKMARK this page and come back daily for the update on whether the guy 141 memebers above me gets paid or not. Once he gets paid then I will continue to update this page with how close I am to the $20 payout mark and whether or not I got paid.
So if you prefer to wait to see if I get scammed, no problem. Should make for amusing reading for everyone. I am by no means a sucker, I just really love business. Some people collect stamps, coins, do gardening etc. All hobbies cost money, and this is mine. The thing is, sometimes my hobby pays out, which it has in the past. This month is my first time taking a crack at this online marketing and its kinda fun seeing my ads turn into website hits and then into people buying products or joining programs.
However if you choose to wait, just remember you are missing out on automatic downline members as you wait. So you either risk $10 and join NOW, or come back in a few days and wait to see if I, or the other guy gets paid and THEN join when you are more sure. But if you wait until then you could lose out on 100 or 200 downline members. I think as this thing grows it will accelerate as more and more join and advertise it.
I just checked my downline while writing this, and Im still at 15. Now new dowline members in the last few minutes
Check back tomorrow for my progress, and again until I hit my 250 mark to see whether or not I was a sucker !!!

May 3rd 3:46 am (elapsed time since joining = 6.5hrs) total downline members now = 19 (that’s 4 more during the time it took to write and post this page)
May 3rd 10:25 am EST - (elapsed time since joining = 13+hrs) total downline members now 24
May 3rd 7:45PM (elapsed time since joining = 22+hrs) total downline referrals = 58 (only 1 direct referral, the rest is spillover)
May 3rd 8:10pm - downline now at 59 - still only 1 referral by me - 58 are spillovers
May 4th 8am EST - downline now at 100 - only 1 recruit by me, 99 are spillovers. Also I’ve been doing some math and I’m pretty sure this is a scam as the numbers just don’t add up. They are paying out more than they are taking in so Im not sure how they are doing it. However, it’s only 9 more members until the guy above me is supposed to get paid, so we will see ….
May 4th 9:52pm EST - downline now at 108 - still only 1 recruit by me and 107 spillover. Only 1 more sign up and the guy above me hits his 250 and we can see if we were scammed or not !!!
May 4th 5:44pm EST - downline now at 198 - still only 1 recuit by me and 197 spillover. The guy above me has DEFINITELY crossed the 250 mark. I’ve emailed him to see if he got paid or not. Wait for the reply and check back here for the result. Scam or no Scam ??? My money is on scam at this point because the math doesn’t add up. More on the math later……
May 4th 7:17pm EST - downline now at 214 - still only 1 recruit by me so 213 is spillover. I should hit my 250 by then end of the day I expect. Still no payout from the guy 141 above me. Looks like payout isn’t very quick (if at all)
May 4th 11:20pm EST - downline now at 232 (still only 1 recruit by me personally so 231 is spillover). Getting very close to the 250 mark. The guy 141 above me hasn’t replied to my email yet about whether he has been paid or not. I sent him my mathematical calculations exposing how the renumeration is mathematically impossible and he said he email the company about it. So we will see. Keep checking back for more updates …..
May 5th 1:40am EST - downline now at 246 (still 1 referral by me & 245 spillover). Only 4 more till I get 250 and “qualify for my first payout of $20″ . We will see won’t we ? …
May 5th 2:18am EST - CROSSED THE 250 - WHERE’S MY $20 ?!?!? Now that I have crossed the 250 mark I will post the link to this “opportunity” so you don’t have to email me. Just check it out for yourself. However I recommend you wait until I, or the other guy above me, actually get our $20 payment. If you think it’s real and you like to live life on the edge then go ahead and join now ! But as I said before the math is impossible and it’s bound to fail.

It appears you can join this scheme for free to “lock in your position” and pay the $10 fee later. Im not so sure about how that works, so go ahead and join. May 5 5:20pm EST - MAJOR MISTAKE MADE BY ME. If you look at the site above you can see the Power Line Growing and the numbers being displayed. In order to calculate how big my downline was, I simply subtracted my 9098 number from the total number in the downline. However, it is free to register and unless the members pay their $10 fee they aren’t really considered in your downline. I recently figured out how to find out how many PAID members are in my downline and at present as of writing this I only have 87 PAID members, one of which was referred by me directly and 86 were spill over. It’s not easy at all to figure this out as I had to copy and paste the line into word and count how many people were below me manually. Pretty crap tracking system if you ask me. Anyways, I guess its fair to say I’m not due the $20 quite yet, but Im getting an average of almost 30 members per day in my downline. At this rate I will qualify for the $20 payout around May 11th I should qualify.
However the guy above me has DEFINITELY crossed the 250 mark. So it will be interesting to see if he gets paid or not.
May 6 7pm EST - I now have 107 PAID MEMBERS in my downline, 2 were referred directly by me, so that’s a spillover of 105 Paid Members. Of course my free member spillover is over 400 now, but we only get paid (supposedly) after 250 paid members join. So yesterday I had 87 which gives an average of 20/day. Therefore I won’t qualify for the $20 payout until about 8 days from now. The other guy hasn’t been paid yet and he promised to email me as soon as he does get paid.
May 8 9am EST - About the math - I said earlier I would talk about the math of Fast Profit Powerline and how its impossible so here it is. I hope it’s easy enough to follow. They claim to pay $20 after you get 250 people below you. Then $30 for the next 250, and it continues to increase for every 250 people.
Now lets pretend it has just begun. The first 250 people pay $10 each so the company now has $2500 pure profit. The 251st person joins so now they must pay the first person $20. When the 252nd person joins they must pay the second person $20 and so on. So from this point onwards the company is loosing $10 for every person that joins. It’s just impossible. Once they hit 500 people they would break even ie 500 people = $5000 but they would have paid out 250 $20 payouts also equal to $5000. Therefore from person 501 onwards they are in debt.
So really Im quite stupid for joining this program without doing the math first. However, in my life of business I don’t normally sit down and do a cost analysis for only a $10 purchase. And as I said, I just wanted to try this thing out for the purpose of seeing if their claim is true. Maybe I missed something in the math ? In fact I spoke to someone on Skype today who also is in Fast Profit Powerline and he has like 2000 paid members below him and he still hasn’t recieved any money. Perhaps my next step is to attempt to file a claim with Alertpay for false advertising. Im interested to see what Alertpay will do about this. That will be in the next update I guess.
May 11 1:30pm EST - I got an email today from someone in the Powerline who claims they got paid their $20 on May 3rd. Their number is 2714 and they said their sponsor has also been paid a few times. Hmmm, is there hope for us ? Time will tell …..
May 12 6:46pm EST - I just got yet another email from a member who claims to have been paid. They made a very good point in their email saying I can’t declare this a scam. Although I believe the math shows that what they are offering IS indeed impossible, I have still changed my site just to be safe. I no longer declare it a scam at the top, but merely ask the rhetorical question. The evidence I present here can speak for itself.
However, I WILL say that I have just checked my power line and now I am INDEED past the 250 mark, in fact I have 275 !!! (PAID Members of course). The powerline is at 9850 including non paid members giving me a downline of 750+ including free members. So after 10 days my $10 investment should have turned into a $20 return for a profit of $10. I am now in a position to actually say “WHERE’S MY $20 ?“. Unlike the first time when I didn’t realize about the paid / unpaid thing.
So, if you believe the emails I have recieved from 2 people about getting paid, by all means go ahead and join. You can always join for free and pay later, or at least that’s how it seems. If and when I ever do get paid, I will post that here immediately for everyone’s benefit. So keep checking back to see whether or not I was scammed. Time will tell …..
