Is AdShares4U a Scam ?

Sep 2 2009 - Oh boy ! Here we go again with another revenue sharing Traffic exchange.  This one is called Adshares4u.  Is Adshares4u the next scam in the making ?

Hasn't anyone learned their lesson with Adventures-4U ? I received some emails today from Adventures4U users that say they are cancelling the revenue share portion of their program.  What that means is if you put $100s into the program in hope of having a decent revenue share, you have lost all of it and there's nothing in the world you can do to get it back.  The reason being you officially purchased traffic and not an investment.  They are completely legally safe, and have always been from the start.  It's just the foolish, naive people that invested large amounts of money based on the fact that they had been paying out consistently for weeks or months.  This built peoples trust in the system so they invested more and more ASSUMING this wouldn't happen.  However, 2 months ago I warned that this WOULD happen eventually.  I'm a little surprised it happened this quick.

Now, by some miraculous co-incidence another near identical program has started up called AdShares4U.  Amazing isn't it ?  Strange if you ask me.

Are people going to jump on this Adshares4u band wagon, like lemmings, in hopes of a better Adventures-4u ?  C'mon people, don't be naive !  Of course I can't sit here and slander this new program Adshares4U.  I can't say AdShares4u is a scam, as I am very confident they, like Adventures4u, will pay their members on time etc and do everything like Adventures4U did.  That's how these things work.  Build a faultless reputation that attracts the naive, keep this going for as long as possible and then pull the plug at the best possible time once you have a lot of money.  It's brilliant !

However what I will do is YET AGAIN predict that AdShares4U won't last.  About 2 months ago I predicted that Adventures4u wouldn't last, and I was right.  You can read my prediction here : Is Adventures4u a Scam ?

There you will see I warned that this business model was doomed to fail, and it appears that is exactly what has happened today.   Adventures4U will continue to operate as an advertising/traffic exchange so they aren't completely out of business.  However the revenue sharing (i.e. the income/money earning portion) of Adventures4U is now finished.

Adventures4u claim their reason for stopping the revenue sharing portion of their business was due to threats to their family.  Here is what you can read from the back office :

Due to secruity reason and threats to my Family,

We will be revenue sharing to all the members that request a cashout this week. I really really wanted to continue but with the current events with the scammers and the hackers and the attacks to the site I just cannot continue the revenue sharing portion of the program.

I cannot comment of course on the truthfulness of this claim. Perhaps it's true I don't know, but as a result of this, there are many poor souls who are out $100s and maybe even $1000s.

Now we have Adshares4U doing pretty much exactly the same thing.  In fact the website looks very similar ... interesting .... They have changed it up a little though.  This time Adshares4U are doing an 80% revenue sharing instead of Adventures4U 85%.

What makes Adshares4U more appealing however is the multi level benefits.  With Adventures4u you earned 15% of your direct referrals and that is all.  However Adshares4u have introduced a new aspect whereby you earn 4% off of your second level and 2% of your 3rd-5th levels.

From this point of view Adshares4u looks a little better than Adventures4u.  Of course I don't recommend joining and paying money.  By all means join and take the free benefits.  Or join for the traffic exchange, but please DO NOT pour in $100s or $1000s in hopes of getting a great return!

Something that boggles my mind though is  Adshares4u claim they will share 80% of the revenue.  However 15% of the revenue goes to the referrer and then 4% + 2% +2% + 2% up the levels.  That equals 105% !!!

So, how can Adshares4u pay out 5% MORE than they receive ?  Already there a mathematically impossible claim.  Perhaps Adshares4u's meaning is they will share 80% of what is left over after they pay the 15% + 4% + 2% +2% + 2%  ?  I don't know, as it isn't clear.

Well, whatever the situation is, PLEASE if you decide to join Adshares4u ONLY buy the credits or whatever in order to get hits to your site or for your promotions.  Don't pour in $100s or $1000s in hopes of making a decent return.  Perhaps some people will be able to do so and then tell all their friends etc but the fact is these business models ALL fail eventually.  It's just a matter of when, and when isn't something I can predict.  But a good indicator is the rate at which the members increase.  If a program like this is continually getting new members things are pretty safe.  However when the rate of membership begins to fall and level out, you are now is very serious territory.

I will be keeping my eyes on Adshares4u to see how long this one goes for out of curiousity
