Is MillionaireX1 (MX1) A Scam ?
Aug 9 2009 - Today someone emailed me asking me to review MillionaireX1 (MX1). At this point I can't say it is a scam, just yet another way in which one can make money by getting others to part with their hard earned cash.
Aug 12 2009 - I am afraid I am forced to put this programMillionaireX1 (MX1) into my "Recommended" list. It pains me to do so, as I think the "product" is very lame. Only my personal opinion though. However, I can't deny the fact that the compensation plan is the best I have seen thus far. After referring just 6 people you have more than tripled your $30/month payment into $100/month commission. No one else offers you triple your money back for having 6 people and that is the ONLY reason I am recommmending this program. I am NOT a member, nor plan to be, as I believe that one must think the product has some value in order to promote it effectively. If I joined and promoted it I would feel like I am scamming people, just getting them to part with the $30 for the sake of getting others to do so. Hopefully the fact that I am recommending a program that I have no intentions of joining demonstrates to the readers that this is truly an un-biased review site. Not set up to get people to join my programs and make me money but an honest examination of what is on the market. I am also a member of EZ 2x2, and I don't recommend it, so I hope you can see that I only recommend programs that are worth recommending.
MillionaireX1 (MX1)'s "product" in this case just appears to be self-help, self-motivation and/or self-improvement information i.e. a bunch of videos and books etc. In the MillionaireX1 (MX1) web page they highlight that the self help business is a multi-billion dollar per year business. I'm sure it is, but I have NEVER bought one of these types of books or videos in my life, so that kind of makes me personally prejudiced against MillionaireX1 (MX1)'s "opportunity".
I can see that there may be a market for it, but as I don't personally use this type of material I see no value whatsoever in the $30 per month fee. Further, I don't think I could sell a product I didn't believe in and that is why I wouldn't enter into Millionaire X1 (MX1).
However, if I look at it from a purely mathematical/commission point of view, the compensation isn't too bad. It's an interesting structure, as MillionaireX1 (MX1) is the first "monthly cycler" I have come across.
The other cyclers I have reviewed are 3x3 Gold, EZ 2x2 and 4x1 Fortune. These are all one time payment cyclers, whereas MillionaireX1 (MX1) is a $30 per month payment, making it unique among the monthly payment opportunities I have reviewed on this site. Although The Advertising Gold Mine (TAGM) could be considered a monthly cycler (although the payment is weekly). So when comparing programs The Advertising Gold Mine (TAGM) is probably the closest thing to MillionaireX1 (MX1) although the products are completely different.
MillionaireX1 (MX1) is also a 2x2, so you need 6 people in order to cycle which will land you a monthly commission of $100 per month. That's over triple what you pay, making it a decent return. Compare that to the other monthly payment opportunites and what you would get for 6 people, for example Team Success Builder (TSB) would pay you $39 for 6 personally referred people which isn't even double the $20 per month fee. Teamwork Revolution (TWR), which I also recommend, would only pay $11 for six people which is only a $1 per month profit. You can also compare it to The Advertising Gold Mine (TAGM) which is $23 per month ($5.75 weekly) giving only $11 after cycling (although it pays out more on higher cycles, and one also need to take into account that The Advertising Gold Mine (TAGM) provide guaranteed placements ensuring you will eventually cycle even without recruiting). So from that standpoint, Millionaire X1 (MX1) is much better than the other monthly payment opportunities. If you plan on getting 6 referrals yourself (ie actively recruiting) then Millionaire X1 (MX1) is actually very good (although I hate to admit it because I dislike the "product" and the ridiculous website)
However, one needs to think about how difficult or easy it will be to get 6 people to part with $30 per month for this "product". As you only get paid once you have 6. So if it takes you a full year to get 6 then you have paid out $360 before you see your first commission. Whereas with Team Success Builder (TSB) and Teamwork Revolution (TWR) you get paid as soon as you have one referral.
So you need to think about these things before joining MillionaireX1 (MX1). The compensation is relatively better once you actually reach the 6 people required to cycle. However, actually getting 6 people into MillionaireX1 (MX1) is another story all together. It's not a product I personally have any interest in whatsoever, which makes me a little prejudiced into thinking no one else would be interested either.
One thing I take HUGE issue with is the following claim on their website :
"We proudly proclaim MX1 to be the greatest home business in the world."
This is absolutely ridiculous !!! How can they make such a claim ? When I read stuff like that I get really annoyed. Have they analysed EVERY SINGLE home business in the world before making such a ridiculous claim ? Obviously not ! Any company that makes such conceited, unfounded self proclamations definitely turns me off. Any respect I had in them as a company just went down the toilet in that one sentence. This is not something ANY company can say about themselves.
However, I can't argue with the fact that the self-help and self-improvement business is definitely big business. So perhaps I am missing out on something here ?
If I am missing out, I am not bothered. I can always join this at anytime, however I highly doubt I ever will.
