Is Team Success Builder (TSB) a Scam ?
Team Success Builder (TSB) launched around July 22 2009. I joined just as a test, but in the end decided not to continue. I am no longer a member, but as with most programs you can make money at this if you work at it and have success. I however have found other programs easier and overall I lost money in this one (as with many others of course). But I was by no means scammed. I knew what I was getting into and what the risks were.
It's pretty much exactly the same concept as Teamwork Revolution (one of my recommended programs) ie a webhosting matrix. But there are some advantages to Team Success Builder (TSB) over Teamwork Revolution.
Firstly, one of my favorite features is the Team Success Builder (TSB) matrix is a 3x6, as apposed to Teamwork Revolutions 5x6 matrix. This means spillover rates are much higher than that of Teamwork Revolution. If my Teamwork Revolution sponsor gets 15 referrals I should get 3 of those. However if my Team Success Builder (TSB) gets the same 15 referrals, then I would get 5 ! That's almost double the spillover. Of course I always stress one should never RELY on spillover in these programs. If you join with the dream of becoming rich on spillover, you will get a rude awakening. Unless you are willing to wait at least 1 year or more. However, with this increased spillover members will be guaranteed a higher rate of spillover regardless.
Another nice feature of Team Success Builder (TSB) is that it pays a one time $4 bonus on each personal referral thereby rewarding the person who put in the work a little more than the rest.
Not only is this incredibly fair, rewarding the people who actually put in the work, but it also encourages people to market themselves as they will earn much more much quicker by actually putting in some work. I like this feature. This feature is similar to Work for $3 (my recommended program for beginners) whereby you earn a bonus on each personal referral.
Team Success Builder (TSB), like Teamwork Revolution, allow you to break even at 5 referrals and profit at 6.
Yet another thing I like about Team Success Builder (TSB) as compared with Teamwork Revolution is their webhosting product is UNLIMITED. Teamwork Revolution is only 700MB. Now, I will fully admit that perhaps 99% of all websites on the internet are less than 700MB. No one should ever need more than that. However, UNLIMITED just sounds so much better, and UNLIMITED hosting is pretty much becoming standard now. So I like the fact that we can offer Unlimited hosting like most people are doing these days.
Now here are the only drawbacks that I can see with this program as compared to Teamwork Revolution. Firstly, this one is $20 per month whereas Teamwork Revolution is only $10. So, although I am willing to spend double the money for all the benefits mentioned above, I'm not entirely sure if others will be willing to risk $20/month over $10/month. Secondly, the maximum you can earn with Team Success Builder (TSB) is $2100 per month plus 20% referral bonus (ie additional $4 per direct referral). Teamwork Revolution offers a max of over $20,000 per month. Of course, multiple positions are allowed in both programs which essentially means your earning potential is unlimited in both. However, because of this $2100 figure over $20k people might be drawn to Teamwork Revolution because of the dream of earning $20k per month. However, in my opinion that's all it really is - a dream ! I doubt anyone will ever fill their 5x6 matrix, but even still I recommend it as a decent program that actually works.
Team Success Builder (TSB) have tried to give a more EVEN DISTRIBUTION of the profit. Thats why you are earning less, it's a more reasonable and achievable goal. The less money you can potentially make the more likely you are to make it. Teamwork Revolution offer a $20k/month profit, but in order to be making that much money A LOT of people will be losing money. People don't stick around long if they are losing money which is why I prefer the more even distribution of Team Success Builder (TSB). I think this could turn out to be much better than Teamwork Revolution to be honest, time will tell.
I think I will promote both programs side by side and see which comes out the winner. For the sake of curiousity and also being able to cater to the people who won't spend more than $10 per month I will continue to promote and recommend Teamwork Revolution also.

TIMELINE
Aug 4 - I now have a downline of 16, however only 2 of those are paying members. This means 14 are in the 15 day trial period. It will be interesting to see how many drop out during the trial and how many stay on (ie conversion rate). Keep in mind I did absolutely nothing to get any of these members. I am in a good position under some very skilled and good promoters which is causing me to get all this spillover. I will start marketing this myself soon I just need to organise a good campaign. It's better for me to get signups myself as I get a bonus for personal signups as compared to spillovers. Nevertheless I see this program coming together very nicely and of course recommend it. Again, don't expect to get rich on spillover it's just a nice bonus if and when it happens.
Aug 5 - Wow ! 4 more people upgraded giving me a PAYING downline of 6, and 10 people still in trial period. Apparantly my commission so far is $17, this all from doing nothing. None of those referrals were my own, all spillover. There is a 15 FREE TRIAL so feel free to join and just wait and see if you get any spillover within the 15 days. It's not too likely, but it is possible.
Aug 6 - I recieved another spillover (free trial). Still only 6 paying members. Again all from doing nothing
Aug 7 - 2 more spillovers (free trial) so my downline is 6 paying and 13 trial for a total of 19. Again all from doing nothing
Aug 8 - 1 more spillover (free trial) so downline is now 6 paying and 14 trial for a total of 20. Still from doing nothing.
Aug 9 - I think I just had a drop out (free trial). I guess that person didn't see any spillover within his 15 day trial and decided to leave. Im not sure, I just know that I'm back down to 19 downline (6 paying).
Aug 10 - I just had a member upgrade earning me a commission. Further I have another new free trial member. That gives me a total downline of 20, 7 of which are paying members and I now have $21 in waiting commissions. Therefore I am now profiting $1 per month from Team Success Builder (TSB). Still ALL from doing NOTHING. I will post once I get paid that $21.
Aug 18 - Well I got my $21 today into my Alertpay. So I can now confirm that Team Success Builder (TSB) is not a scam. That puts me at $1 per month in profit in Team Success Builder (TSB). Still this is from doing nothing. I am doing a little bit of marketing to try to get my own signups, but not enough as I still have no personal referrals. Hopefully soon.
Aug 22 - WOW ! I logged in today to see that I had 5 more trial members. That's a total Team Success Builder (TSB) downline of 25. Still only 7 of those are paying members, but still pretty good for doing absolutely nothing. I am still doing some Team Success Builder (TSB) promoting of my own, but as of yet still unsucessful.
Sep 4 - Things aren't looking very good. My sponsors have left this program and rightly so. One of our team members accidentally signed up twice and the admin weren't willing to refund the $20. So out of principle the sponsors above me (the good recruiters) are leaving the program. This means many will follow suit and I expect my small matrix to implode. I think I will pack this one in next month as the future looks bleak. It's still an ok program and you can make money with it. However, it appears the admins are too short sighted and don't have good business experience. Any smart business man would have refunded the measily $20 in a second. Not refunding that $20 was the stupidest thing they could have done. So now instead they are losing $100s if not $1000s. How foolish. To make matters worse they had a 15 day trial but they have now removed that feature. I think this will have further negative impact on the program. Therefore I have removed this program from my "Recommended" list as with these new developments I can't put my trust in it. Any business who would rather keep $20 than keep a customer is too short sighted for me.
Oct 15 - I have now left Team Success Builder. They have changed their software from EZY Gold (same as Teamwork Revolution) to some other software I have never seen before. I have to say I prefer EZY Gold but perhaps it has some problems. Something else I find strange is the owner of Team Success Builder, Dave Thomas ,apparently has a position in the new Teamwork Revolution Power System. I can't confirm that, but if it's true I don't know why he would join a competing company when he has his own. Perhaps he wants to spy and keep his eye on the competition. If that's the reason then good for him
